Kihei is often referred to as "Sunny Kihei" and for good reason.   This is where the good weather is, what you come to Maui for. Kihei is located next to Wailea where the world class hotels are located (Grand Wailea, Four Seasons, Aston Wailea, Renaissance, Maui Prince and Kea Lani). There are many fine restaurants, lots of shops and activities within easy walking distance from the Maui Vista Resort.  Also, there are many world class golf courses nearby.
